I have been in contact with Matt Wilkins and have verified that this is not a scam. It is to create a new Alumni directory book. Matt asks that we post this on our class website. This info is requested soon (7 days from yesterday).
Oh…. the cost of the book will probably be in excess of $300! It will be useful to Alumni associations but not very useful to individuals (especially because of the cost). This company is also sending out post cards and making calls to verify information.
I have already let people know via Facebook.

Cost of book will be dependent on how it is received…e-copy, hard cover or whatever. The WHOLE package will be over $300. I will have true prices soon.

While some of you may want this Alumni Reference Book, it may be better for your class to purchase it for general use. Further, a few years from now, the price of the book will probably drop as it becomes obsolete. Keep that in mind when considering purchasing anything.
When I called they already had my information and needed to verify it and make sure there were no changes. They also said I didn’t have to buy the entire package which consists of the book, tee shirt and sweatshirt. I could purchase any single item priced separately. I also told the representative we had our 50th reunion in 2015 and visited the school when many classmates did in fact purchase tee shirts and/or sweatshirts.
