Notification of Class of 1965 Website activity

There are two official ways to receive notification of activity on our class website.  The first is to go to the website looking for updates, the second and preferred way is to be registered with the website’s FeedBurner email notification application.

If you received this notification by email to your account, you are registered in the class FeedBurner application and need to do nothing further to continue receiving notifications of activity on our LEHS Class of 1965 website.

This is part 1 of a 2 part notice.  The second part will be emailed from our Mail Chimp mass email distribution application to all class mates who we have email addresses for.

You will also be getting a copy of that email.

Reminder about Sharing Contact Information (8/19/2011)

Your contact information is confidential.  We can not share it with anyone without your written permission.  If you want other members of our class to be able to write to you, please update your address information using the address update form and make sure you give permission on the form (there is a line for that) to share your contact information.  See the page “Communications Between Members of Our Class” for details.  There has been quite a bit of interest in contacting old classmates on the Lynn English High School (the 60’s) Facebook Group.  To keep your email (or snail mail or phone) from getting spammed please do not post your contact information anywhere.

The class address database is kept on Bob Maleszyk’s home computer with a back up copy on Eleanor (Shellgren) Starkenberg’s computer.  No information is stored on public databases.  We still don’t have current information for everyone in the class and we quite frankly can’t find nearly a third of the class.

NOTE:  Please include your telephone number if you update your contact information.  It is very helpful to find you if you move!

Reunion Update (10/6) and Other Info

The 45th reunion is behind us.  We had 123 classmates at the reunion.  Plus a few teachers.  We will be looking forward to the 50th next.  Check out the photos and who attended the 45th.

We are still searching for classmates who have not updated their contact information.  The intent is to make it possible to contact all classmates for the 50th reunion.  If you haven’t updated your contact information (or are not sure), please fill out the new address update form for doing so.

Please check the Lost Classmate List to help us find people who we have tried to contact, but have been unable to either because the address / phone number we have is incorrect or because the classmate hasn’t replied to messages.  If a classmate doesn’t reply to a message it is either because they don’t want to or we left a message at an incorrect number (we can’t tell which).

We hope that all our classmates have considered giving to the Class of 1965 scholarship program.  Please visit the Scholarship Program Page for details on how to give to the program. 

We are trying to identify which of our classmates served in the military (especially in Vietnam).  Please contact us if you did.

Some classmates indicated they would like to contact their fellow classmates.  Unless we have specific permission to release contact information (only to fellow LEHS65ers) we can not do so.  Please visit the page for Communications between Classmates for details on who is on the list, how to give permission (and get on the list) and how to get the contact information of people on the list.

We have created page for people who want to make their contact information to other members of LEHS Class of 1965.  Note:  This is ONLY for members of LEHS Class of 1965.  If you want to know how to get your name on the list and how to get the contact information go to the Communications Between Members of Our Class Page.

The purpose of this page is to make it possible for old friends who have lost contact with each other to revive their old friendships.  All contact information remains secure.  The contact information will not be on the webpage, only the names of the people who want their contact information made available to other classmates.  The only people who can obtain this information are other members of LEHS Class of 1965.  As of August 10, 2010 we have the minimum number of names for the list to be published so check out the page for Communications Between Members of Our Class.
